Audrey at 14 months

Gosh it seems these days that I just pop on here to put up the monthly pics of my daughter. Oi.

I’ve got some things in the pipeline though I assure you.

On Sunday we had a combined 1 year party for our babies from Mothers group. Audrey turned 14 months old on that day.

Teething hardcore.

This is the cake I made for the party. I guess you should use paper towel for the berries first. Learn something new everyday.

It was a 3 layer chocolate cake with whipped cream in the layers with strawberries. The outside icing is buttercream

Her hair is growing so fast.

And she is NOT interested in any clips or head bands.

Or staying STILL!

Well. . . maybe sometimes. Just enough to paparazzi snap a shot of her.

Another round of hide and go seek in the curtains. Sorry the photo is blurry as all get out, but couldn’t resist her little face. She was so ‘shocked’ that I found her LOL!!

So, yeah. Till next month! Adios.

NO WAY! I’ll be back shortly. I got 4.5 hours sleep last night. Nothing to do with the baby. I think I need to be stay up late person and a get up early person AT THE SAME TIME!

I went to bed at 11.30pm and awoke at 4am . . . KILL ME NOW.

I have got a lot done. but still loads more to do. I just cannot get on time of this cleaning gig and I only have 1 child!!!

Oh she is too gorgeous! We are having a similar issue with hats and socks, which kills me because it’s freezing at the moment! My sleep issues stem from a snoring husband – my kid sleeps 12 hours and he keeps me awake, argh! xx

Thanks Cate. Ohhh no. Can’t deal with snoring. Thankfully my husband does not. I need my sleep. But even if he did I would sleep through it!! hehehehe. My daughter is a good sleeper too! YAY for us.

She is just so cute. I know I say this every time you post a photo of her, but she is!!
Do you know (re the cleaning) I think you get more cleaning/ neatness oriented the older you get. I’ve always been reasonably neat, but I am much more so in my late 30s than in my early 20s. I also have to say that children are not conducive to cleaning. At all! If I want to, I can spend an entire day doing laundry, cleaning and tidying up, and feel like the house is just ok. Then the kids will undo it all in about 5 minutes…. so sometimes it’s just not worth stressing too much about! As long as the beds are made, and the dining table free of junk, and the dishes put away, I try not to let it work me up. xx

LOL. THANKS! I have not ever been neat! I am having to learn it all from the very beginning. I have no good habits instilled in. I see mess/clutter/dust and walk past it/step over it/ignore it for WEEKS!!!! I have changed some things already. I am making progress. I use something, I put it away most of the time now. My dining table is the hard part. Because I do my creative stuff on there because I am craft room less and I don’t/can’t pack away because I am part way through. I keep my kitchen really clean though! So I am happy about that. I think the addition of a playroom/rumpus and a craft room would make the WORLD of difference to my house and life!
