We have moved the taller cabinets away and are left with the 3 smaller ones.

We are going to buy one more smaller one, so we have this configuration

To jazz up these and make them look super EXXXYYYY

I was thinking of getting a length of marble cut for the top.

it is 0.96 square metres. So I don’t think it will be tooo crazy & considering the cheapness of the cabinets to begin with!

This duo of crystal decanters are VERY SIMILAR to the ones I saw in Bowral at an antique shop, except there was 3 and they had name-plate necklaces and a $950 price tag… GAHHH I still think about them. I would love it.

Postcards from Paris

On the weekend I went to my happy place.

The art store.

Got some great advice and I am ready to embark on my first oil painting, welllll just need to get my hands on an overhead projector first.

This is for an artwork to go in our bedroom.

I have the concept all mapped out, just need to paint it!!!

Whilst in Balmain, I did what any normal warm blooded creature would do. Picked up some Zumbo. I wanted to get home and take a nice pic with the DSLR but alas the sun had gone down by then. This will have to suffice. Dessert!

It has been toooo long between cleans and a rhodium plating. Last time was right before the wedding. Eek! Had a big day yesterday, had post op appointment then went to a tile shop across the bridge in Artarmon, the jewellers in Leichhardt, lunch in Balmain, browsed shops in Balmain and Rozelle, another tile shop and then back to jewellers to pick up rings. Ahhhh I also drove my car for the first time in like a month!!!

Always a good mail day when you get a magazine. (Note to self. Need more subscriptions)

. . . which reminds me, I am yet to document my own ikea hack. Partly because I haven’t got the items I would like to style it. Hmmm
